In the third quarter of 2021, the top food delivery service applications on the Android platform in Ghana demonstrated various trends in downloads and active users. The data, sourced from Sensor Tower, provides insights into the performance of these apps.

Bolt Food: Delivery & Takeaway experienced a notable increase in weekly downloads, starting from approximately 10K in late June and peaking at around 18K by the end of September. Active users also showed a steady rise, beginning at 23.3K and reaching approximately 46.3K by the quarter's end.

Jumia Food: Food Delivery saw a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting at around 3.6K and reaching about 9.3K by the end of September. Active users followed a similar trend, growing from 31.7K to approximately 55.3K throughout the quarter.

Glovo: Food Delivery and More showed a varied pattern in downloads, with a significant spike to around 19.7K in late June, followed by fluctuations and another rise to approximately 8K by the end of September. Active users showed an initial decline from 38.5K to 20.5K but recovered to around 35.9K by the end of the quarter.

Swiggy: Food Instamart Dineout had a fluctuating download trend, starting from a low base of 24 downloads and peaking at around 11K in mid-August. Active users increased from about 2K to 12.2K in mid-August, maintaining around 10K towards the end of the quarter.

Uber Eats: Food Delivery saw moderate growth in downloads, starting at around 781 and peaking at approximately 6.3K in mid-August. Active users also increased from 6.3K to around 11.9K by the end of September.
